I personally interview some of my college friends and requested them to comment on the Internet pornography, and majority of them replayed that they do not support Internet pornography but they like to visit porn addresses. Even i was surprised when i knew the girls don't support this directly but they do indirectly. Recently one of my friend jerry Ropelato collected statistics and made a blog called Internet pornography statistics blog and presented these statistical data.

I was surprised to know that average age of first Internet exposure to pornography is 11 years old.Largest consumer of Internet pornography is between 35 to 49 age group. About 80% of teenagers having multiple hard core exposure. 90% of children between 7 to 17 years old having viewed porn online when they are doing their homework.there some process to know that these children are watching porn online because statistics showing that between 7 to 17 years old 14% are freely giving out their home and email address.

so Internet pornography is attacking us like a dangerous virus but I am happy to know that Malaysian government is moving to block access to Internet pornography.
"Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak said action was being taken after news reports that Malaysians could access 1.5 million sex sites.
We are worried by the presence of these websites on the Internet. While we accept the use and application of modern technology, the downside of technology needs to be considered too," he was quoted as saying by the New Straits Times.
While the Internet will not be censored in the Multimedia Super Corridor, a centre for local high-tech firms, Najib said the restrictions will be extended outside government offices to other sectors, which he did not specify.

Malaysia's Education Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said separately that school computers will soon be fitted with software to block access to pornography.
The government committed 800 million ringgit last year to expand access to broadband facilities in rural areas and schools, government offices, universities and research institutions.
